Any one who is above 18 years
can get registered for participation of KBC 8 by giving right answer to
registration question in four ways.
1 Through KBC official Website
2 Through KBC Official
application
3 Through IVR Calls
4 Through SMS

Go to the KBC website

The Registrant will be
asked to first register on the website, www.KBCSony.com and then asked to
choose a username and a password to be able to register for the Show.
·
The Registrants shall
enter their mobile number. Please note that the Company will be able to get in
touch with the registrants only if the mobile number is registered with the
service provider in India.
·
Registrants shall enter
the circle (select one of the City/State from the options provided in the
Application) that the telephone number belongs to.
·
Registrants have to enter
their age in completed years as on May 4, 2014
·
Registrants have to choose
gender between Male and Female
·
Please note that online
registrations are chargeable at Rs. 50 for upto 10 registrations
·
Payment gateway is being
managed by a third party, and all questions / queries / claims arising out of
the same should be addressed to the third party.
·
The Company is providing
this platform only for convenience of registration and the Registrants shall
use the platform at their own risk.
·
Payments can be made by
any of the payment modes provided by the third party from time to time.
2) Through KBC Official
application
Download the KBC Application by sending an SMS
KBCAPP to 5252525. SMS Rates: Upto Rs
6/SMS. Available on select operators in select circles. Or Download the KBC application from the
application stores i.e. iOS, Android and Window platforms. Please note, the
application download is free of cost, however data charges may apply. For
further details please contact your service provider/telecom operator.
Participants using the iOS & Windows
Applications have to enter their mobile number. The Participants using Android
Application will not need to enter their mobile number. On successful
registration, the Android Application will send an SMS to the shortcode 5252525
and the mobile number will be captured from this SMS. Please note that MSM will
be able to get in touch with the Participant’s only if the mobile number
entered by the Participant is registered with the service provider in India. Company
is not responsible to verify if the mobile number captured is a valid mobile
number. Participants need to enter the
circle (select one of the City/State from the options provided in the
Application) that the telephone number you have input belongs to.
a. Enter their age in
completed years as on May 4, 2014
b. Choose their gender
between Male and Female
c. Please note that
registrations are chargeable as per the following:
i. For iOS Application:
Rs. 60 for upto 12 registrations.
ii. For Windows
Application: Rs 55 for upto 11 registrations
iii. For Android
Application: Upto Rs.5 per registration (For Android platform registrants, the
Application sends a SMS from the phone to the defined shortcode)

You can register by
answering the on-air question through an SMS or by calling on the IVR

Q. On what number and in
which format do I have to send the SMS?
A. Subscribers of all
operators can send in their SMSs to 5252525. If you are an Idea subscriber, you
can also send in your SMS to 554567. All registration through SMSs need to be
in the following format:
“KBC
<space><A/B/C/D> <space><Age in completed years as on
25-May 2013> <space><Gender M/F>”.
e.g.: If the correct answer
to the question aired is “A” according to you, you are 21 years and 10 months
old and are a male; you are required to send “KBC A 21 M”. During the telecom
partner week, the subscribers of the telecom partner are required to send SMSs
in the following
format:“KBC <space>< Answer Option (A/B/C/D)>” e.g.: If the correct
answer to the question aired is “A” according to you, you are required to send
“KBC A”.
